This is one of the most stylish and chic hotels in the whole of the region, offering a sophisticated blend of hip art deco and traditional Khmer design with outstanding levels of luxury and world-class facilities.
Located within easy walking distance of the nightlife and colourful markets, the hotel is set around an inner courtyard with stone gardens and water features and its art deco design is complemented by strong Khmer influences.
Rooms and suites are all contemporary and chic in design and yet are reflective of the local characteristics, many offering the option of indoor and outdoor living. Our favourite are the Duplex Spa Suites offering 108 square metres of luxury living space, featuring a fabulous rooftop terrace with garden and oversize plunge bath.
For spa junkies, the 3 story Spa Indochine overlooking the swimming pool inspired by the ancient Khmer water gardens is a haven of peace.
Relaxing at any time in the uniquely designed Arts Lounge overlooking the urban streetscape and courtyard garden offers an opportunity to enjoy the showcasing of a variety of modern and traditional Cambodian art forms which are presented in an interactive and thought-stimulating manner.
We love Hotel De La Paix for its gorgeous design, modern chic atmosphere and excellent location. It is quite pricey – but the value for money aspect is as good as the high service levels, excellent rooms and superb facilities.
The hotel will be closed for renovations from 01 May 2012 - we anticipate it being closed for approximately 4 months.
