This 188 room international standard hotel is set amidst an expansive 23.5 hectares of gloriously manicured beachfront garden along 1.5 km’s of pristine white sandy beach just round a headland from Serendipity Beach. The property boasts 166 rooms, suites and 10 villas, five restaurants and bars, swimming pool, gymnasium, children’s activities, tennis courts and water sports (jet ski, speedboat, banana boat, para-sailing, water skiing, kayaking and aqua cycle) as well as the Jasmine Spa – complete with sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and beauty salon.
Although larger and not the usual style of the Oasis hotel selection the Sokha is certainly our pick of the accommodation in this fledgling beach resort. If you are looking for small boutique style accommodation we suggest you look at Thailand or Vietnam alternatives. However, if it is a great unspoilt beach with a raw and undeveloped feel Sihanoukville could be just the place!
