The Sanctuary M.S. Yangzi Explorer has introduced a new and improved standard of river cruising in China and is the definitely the most intimate and luxurious ship on the Yangtze River. It boasts the largest cabins and suites, all with private balconies and seating areas, as well as the highest crew to passenger ratio of 1 crew member to each passenger and a commitment to environmental friendliness and sustainability,
With only 62 cabins, and fewer passengers than other boats, the journey is more relaxed and personal.

All cabins are equipped with a private balcony with seating area, personal in cabin electronic safety deposit box, mini-bar, hairdryer, air-conditioning, large LCD television with satellite channels and on demand videos.
On-board facilities include: a la carte dining, a luxury spa, an observation deck, 24-hour room service, theatre, library, espresso bar, gift shops, hair & beauty salon and well equipped fitness centre.
ON-BOARD ACTIVITIES
Complementing the natural beauty of the Yangtze River a full program of cultural activities include Tai Chi classes, Chinese cooking classes, as well as hands-on experiences such as traditional calligraphy and silk embroidery lessons. Evenings feature live entertainment that includes the best of both the East and the West.

There are two options either sailing......
Chongqing to Yichang (4 days & 3 nights)
or
Yichang to Chongqing (5 days & 4 nights.
DINING
A team of internationally trained chefs and a well-stocked wine cellar ensure dining aboard M.S. Yangzi Explorer is superb experience. Innovative a-la-carte menus featuring the finest of Chinese and continental cuisine, served with complimentary house wines and other refreshments at all lunches and dinners.
CHILDREN
There is no age restriction for children however, adult supervision is required at all times for children under the age of 12 years. A children’s program is also available upon request where activities include things like Chinese Opera mask painting, kite making and Mandarin lessons for beginners. Other amenities include baby cots, high chairs, children’s movies, books and board games.
ON-BOARD PAYMENTS
The ship operates a no cash policy during sailing. All settlement will be calculated at time of check-out. All major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, and American Express) accepted.
DRESS CODE
Cool and comfortable clothing. Jerseys and heavier jackets for spring and winter, light t-shirt and shorts during summer. Sturdy and comfortable shoes are essential.
SMOKING POLICY
The ship enforces a strict no-smoking in all closed areas. There are designated outdoor areas available to smokers.
