On the shore of a stunning beach with powder white sands and pristine blue waters of northern Redang Island is where you will find the excellent Berjaya Redang. The island is accessed by a one and a half hour flight from KL or Singapore.

The resort boasts 273 tastefully rooms and suites designed in typical style of Malaysian chalets. All rooms are comfortably furnished and fully equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning, TV with in-house movies and tea and coffee making facilities. The chalets are generally house 4 accommodation units, some with sea view whilst the superior rooms are in a longhouse style with 32 rooms over 2 floors.

An all-day dining restaurant, lounge and beach bar at both the beach resort and Berjaya Redang Spa Resort, a short distance away, offer an extensive range of Malaysia and International cuisine choices. The spa, located at the Spa Resort, offers a wide selection of treatments from around the world and is accessed via a shuttle bus. The certified 5-star PADI Gold Palm Resort Dive Centre offers a wide array of dive courses for amateur and advanced divers ranging from Discovery Courses, Open Water Diver Courses right through to Night Dive Excursions and advanced courses for seasoned divers.

The beach here is wonderful and the diving (in season – May to Nov) is excellent. The resort is large and a little impersonal but the remote location more than compensates. Service can be hit and miss but given the location and size of the property this is to be expected. The resort is great for families, honeymooners and for those looking for a remote getaway.
