The resort is located in thirty acres of verdant gardens, framed by majestic ancient rain trees which re-create a taste of the island’s rich tropical scenery and is directly situated on the lively Batu Ferringhi Beach.
All 304 luxurious, expansive guest rooms and suites have sweeping views of the ocean or the emerald-green hills of Penang and are decorated in a traditional Minangkabau style, creating an inviting atmosphere of warmth and serenity through the extensive use of carved wood, traditional textures, and colourful fabrics. Rooms and public areas also feature artworks that make use of local style carving motifs. The fully integrated resort comprises two main buildings, the 189-room Garden Wing and the exclusive 115-room Rasa Wing. All the rooms feature all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star deluxe resort and some subtle surprises.
There is a choice of 6 restaurants and bars to choose between, including the award winning Ferringhi Grill. The resort is also within easy walking distance of the plethora of bars and eateries of Batu Ferringhi should you choose to venture away from your luxurious haven. There are three swimming pools, recreational activities such as jungle walks, cooking classes and Tai Chi, plus a whole host of water sports to enjoy.
