This sanctuary of opulence and well-being is situated on the picturesque east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, between Kuala Terengganu in the north and Kuantan in the south, approximately one hour drive from Kuala Terengganu Airport. The resort is built on a lush 17-hectare site overlooking the South China Sea. It has been designed to reflect the style and grandeur of 17th century Malay palaces and the gentle Malay arts of service and hospitality.

The accommodation is split over two levels and built using local architectural styles. The award-winning design features spacious rooms constructed of rich polished timber and set in tropical gardens overlooking the ocean. Each room is 55 square metres in size and features a king-size bed and a spacious indoor bathroom with two vanity units, separate bath and shower facilities. The ground floor rooms also feature a partially covered veranda overlooking the tropical gardens. There are also a few single storey rooms with a sunken outdoor bath and a private garden as well as a spectacular suite.

There are 3 excellent restaurants to choose between that serve Malay, International and authentic “steamboat” dinners all to the soothing sound of Gamelan music and the cool breeze from the sea. A number of private dining options are also available including romantic beachside dining. To help you replicate the wonderful flavours you will experience there is a cooking school that will introduce you to the creative culinary arts of the Malay, Chinese and Indian cooking styles. The resort can also facilitate diving and snorkelling trips, golf, bicycle rides, jungles walks and an eco-adventure Marang River Cruise to name but a few.

The award winning Spa Village offers unique restorative Malay treatments that have been handed down from generation to generation, ensuring their authenticity and therapeutic value. All the spa ingredients are found in various indigenous herbs and plants and combined with the skills of the resident Malay healers provide a very special health and beauty experience. For the more active there are 2 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts.
