Without doubt the most lavish place to stay in Bagan! The villas are spread out amid 27 acres of tropical landscaped garden in what almost resembles a luxury housing estate built overlooking a man made lake. Although the most luxurious it may not be to everyone’s taste as it is a little ostentatious.
The 72 villas house many local antiques and artefacts. Bedrooms are spacious and elegant whilst the bathrooms are large and lavishly equipped. There are many categories to choose between ranging from smaller 90 sqm excluding the terrace to huge 2 storey villas with private swimming pools. There are a number of dining and drinking options featuring a menu of continental and Asian fare as well as a variety of interesting regional dishes from around the country. There is a swimming pool and a spa, which is set in an interesting building designed to look like one of the famous temple ruins.
This is the most over the top offering in Bagan but without doubt the best in terms of facilities. Not everyone will enjoy staying here, there are less grandiose places with character available.
