WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

There are 14 generously sized rooms at Kalu’s hideaway; decor and furnishings are simple, and amenities include TV and DVD players. The onsite restaurant serves both Sri Lankan cuisine, and international favourites. Regular barbecue dinners are organized during the high season which is a great way to meet fellow travellers. There is also an outdoor bar for guests to enjoy a cold beer or pre dinner cocktail. Kalu’s Hideaway is the perfect base from which to explore Uda Walawe National Park. Accommodation is simple but certainly comfortable and given that there is so much to explore it is unlikely that you will spend much time in your room.
