Dining at The Peninsula Bangkok is rated among the finest in the city and includes the contemporary, stylish Jesters for modern Pacific Rim cuisine and evening cocktails, the elegant Mei Jiang Cantonese restaurant, The Lobby, which serves a wide selection of light meals and the traditional Peninsula Afternoon Tea, accompanied by live classical music, as well as The Bar or The Pool Bar, both ideal for relaxing and unwinding.
A new Peninsula Spa by ESPA, opened early 2007, is housed in a three-story Thai-colonial building that combines modern touches with traditional charm and features 14 treatment rooms and four suites, two double and two VIP suites, all with en suite Jacuzzi. Signature treatments, created by ESPA exclusively for The Peninsula Spa, uniquely layer European, Thai and Ayurvedic philosophies for an entirely new, holistic experience. Every treatment is a completely personal experience delivered by highly trained, expertly skilled, multicultural and multilingual therapists. The spa is complimented by a fitness centre and an 88 meter, three tiered outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel also offers a range of culinary courses including a cooking course and a tea appreciation course, cultural experiences, a kids club and can arrange golf trips to the Thai Country Club (not available on Mondays). A fully equipped business is on hand if you feel the need.
