Tharaburi Resort is a small boutique resort nestled in the heart of the old city of Sukhothai and within easy cycling distance of the spectacular World heritage listed Sukhothai Historical Park, the National Museum and Ramkhamhaeng National Park.
The resort has been designed by the owner and real attention to detail is evident. There are only 5 rooms, 2 suites, and a wooden Thai house, ideal for families or friends travelling together, set in an immaculately tendered Thai garden. Each of the rooms is very stylish with all the mod cons expected in a larger hotel. Rooms are large, bright and airy and each is individually appointed with a contemporary Asian fashion using local materials. Some rooms have private terraces with small gardens, others with romantic outdoor bathrooms or Jacuzzis.

The small restaurant is also decorated in contemporary Thai style and serves wonderful Thai food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is set in the charming garden area.
There is plenty to keep you occupied on offer such a cycling excursions to the nearby ruins, Thai cooking classes, a swimming pool and a massage service. They also have internet facilities available should you need them.
With its unique design and peaceful ambience, the resort offers a leisurely and enjoyable experience. Its proximity to the World Heritage ruins makes it the prefect place to base yourself. It does not have the sophistication or service levels of some the boutique resorts in Chiang Mai but the overall experience is genuine and we are confident you will enjoy the quiet atmosphere and serenity.
