There are three main dining outlets that offer distinctive dining experience with picturesque views of the golf course, resort and mountains. Acala, which appears to mysteriously floating on water, inspired by open-air northern Thai rice barns, is the fashionable signature restaurant and open on three sides overlooking the lake and golf course. There is additional alfresco seating on the poolside patio. It is contemporary Thai in design with the use of rustic and wooden elements. The golf course clubhouse is home to a chic Bar and Grill whilst Mist Bar, situated above the restaurant, is the perfect spot to relax after playing a few holes or a day exploring the natural wonders of the park.

This resort is extremely popular, particularly on the weekends with Bangkokians, not only because it is a welcome respite from the heat and chaos of the city but to play the exclusive Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole championship golf course. It is set in the natural surroundings with panoramic views of Khao Yai’s lush greenery and mountains. The course ranges from 4,875 yards to an incredible 7,115 yards and due its single-track layout, golfers feel as if they are the only ones on the entire course.

Apart from the golf, the other main reason to visit this area is the nature. Everyone should take the “night safari”. The tour commences through mountain forests and grassland. From the van, the nightly animal world is illuminated by special halogen lights. You should see a nocturnal animal world such as deer, felines, porcupines and with a little of luck you may even see wild elephants at the salt licks. There is also the option of day time excursions in to the forest which can include elephant rides, bird watching and rafting.
