Isolated but still accessible, the resort is surrounded by secluded beaches, rain forests and uninhabited islands. This is an island where the effects of mass tourism is yet to be felt, perfect for those looking for real intimacy and a true island escape. The resort is independently owned and run and takes great pride in nurturing and supporting the local community by recruiting local staff and preserving the unique surrounding nature by using sustainable locally grown building materials. They are also the proud sponsors of the Koyao Children's Community Centre, which enables local children and youth to gain valuable vocational and language training.
Each of the 15 bungalows has an open plan design with two walls consisting of bi-fold doors that open to your very own sea facing private garden, enabling you to awake to the view of the beach and the dramatic islands in the distance. They are built in the original Andaman Sea - gypsy style which is optimal for comfort and for the environment. The mangrove palm leaf roofs let the villas breathe and do not store heat and hence air conditioners are definitely not needed. Rain water is collected in reservoirs and cleaned naturally for drinking and bathing. An added touch is that all villas have both indoor and outdoor private bathrooms.

The small restaurant uses locally sourced and produced ingredients with an emphasis on fresh seafood brought in daily by the local fishermen.
The resort has a small infinity pool with superb views out to the nearby islands but with a perfect beach and calm seas few venture in to it! There is also a small spa with out door salas offering basic treatments at very reasonable prices and for the more active they can arrange boat trips and diving or snorkelling excursions to the stunning nearby uninhabited enchanted islands and deserted beaches and coves.

What it lacks in sophistication is more than made up for in charm and local elegance coupled with a relaxed and unfussy service.
