This unique boutique accommodation, located just 15 minutes from the city on road to Doi Inthanon road (Thailand's highest mountain), has preserved a little bit of Thai history. Chiang Mai was once well known for tobacco production and 18 tobacco curing barns have been converted in to 36 charming guest rooms decorated in contemporary Lanna style with colonial style teak wood antique furniture.

The open air restaurant, whose kitchen is located in one of the old tobacco kilns, uses herbs and spices grown in the gardens when preparing the Thai and Chinese dishes on offer.
Set in 20 acres of well preserved tropical gardens this special resort will take you right back to nature, there are many varieties of bamboo, wild orchids and ancient trees often frequented by colourful butterflies and a huge variety of birds. Within the gardens there is a picturesque swimming pool with Jacuzzi with large decking area where you can take a traditional Thai style massage. Yoga classes, a children’s playground, jogging track, internet service, creative workshops and a tour service to local nearby areas of interest are all also available.
In our opinion this resort is great value for money and will give you an insight in to a slice of Northern Thai history. Service is adequate and friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. A great option for those looking for somewhere in a natural quiet setting but easily accessible to the shopping and restaurants on offer in Chiang Mai.
