The resort is located directly on the Mae Kok River, secluded from the city, yet within a few minutes drive of the city centre. The immediate surroundings are relatively undeveloped providing a peaceful, natural location ideal for a resort & spa. The property has a panoramic view of the near-by hills and mountains. The riverside is largely untouched and flanked by large trees and lush foliage. Contemporary Lanna design is used giving the resort a traditional Thai feel with a modern twist.

There are 5 room types to choose from including 1 and 2 bedroom pool villas for that extra special treat. They are white washed and equipped with mosquito nets giving a relaxed colonial feel to them. Superior Studios are mostly in 2 level buildings and with partial river views while Deluxe Studios are single level and come with an open-sala living area and a tropical out-door bathroom.

The Pool Villas are situated directly overlooking the Kok River and feature a bedroom connected to an extensive outdoor living area, large private swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a tropical garden with a total living space of 120 square metres excluding swimming pool!

There are 3 restaurants to choose from serving a selection both local and international cuisine. Each has a different feature from the “open kitchen” to unique set menus designed to help people unfamiliar with Thai cuisine to try different regional fare in one sitting and 2 with spectacular views of the river.

The memorable outdoor Chiang Sean Spa uses traditional Thai herbal treatments rewritten for the contemporary scene of today. The spa uses essential oils based on fresh Thai herbs and aromas that have been used for centuries and a holistic approach to treatments. The foot massage is particularly recommended after a day exploring the hilltribes or the Chiang Rai markets! The huge infinity pool is one of the largest around and a great place to relax if spa treatments are not your thing!
