This charming little resort is located on the headland of Thong Nai Pan Beach on the northern tip of Koh Phangan, in the Gulf of Siam just a 40 minute speed boat ride from its more commercial sister island of Koh Samui. Once only the domain of the seasoned backpacker, the Santhiya has opened the option of visiting beautiful Koh Phangan to the more discerning traveller. This tropical hideaway is made up of a selection of rooms and villas each decorated in a supremely comfortable Thai style and split in to six categories ranging from Private Pool Villas, Two Bedroom Family Villas to more simple Deluxe Rooms, many with outdoor bathrooms and spectacular panoramic sea views.

An extensive variety of cuisines to suit everyone's taste is offered, coupled with excellent service and an idyllic ambience. Eateries include Chantara with their fabulous sea view, which serves an extensive variety of Thai cuisine including salads, seafood as well as unique Thai deserts. An extensive wine list complements the menu. The Mahkok-Wine outlet is located on a wonderful hill setting under a Mahkok tree with views across to the swimming pool; this informal relaxed café offers a selection of fine wines, fresh coffee, herbal teas together with light international meals and snacks. The Sea Bar is, as the name suggests, is located on the waters edge and is the ideal venue for al fresco dining. If you do not want to venture out there is always the option of in room dining.
The Aryurvana Spa offers a wide variety of treatments and massages to assist guests in enhancing their well-being. Three air conditioned treatment rooms for either single or couples are primarily used for aromatherapy massages, facial treatments, body wraps and body scrub treatments or invigorating traditional Thai massages. A small fitness centre offers yoga and meditation sessions.
Koh Phangan is the perfect retreat for those wanting to escape the glitz and commercialism of Phuket and Samui.
