In short Zeavola is one of the most unique and luxurious boutique resorts in Thailand. Situated on the outrageously pretty Phi Phi Island, Phi Phi Don to be precise as there are in fact a number of islands, the resort has set new standards for this corner of Thailand. Access to Phi Phi is usually via Phuket Airport and to reach the resort there is a public ferry – not particularly recommended – or to arrive in style and save time the resorts own speedboat. We can also arrange transfer by seaplane at certain times of year.

The suites are set in a recreation of a romantic rural village with 3 different spacious categories choose from. The smaller Village Suites, still a respectable 40 sqm, have a spacious living room and a uniquely designed garden, the larger more numerous Garden Suites have special out door private sunbathing areas, whilst the Beachfront Suites, as the name suggests are the same as Garden Suites but open up directly on to the white sand beach. All are made from local materials with thatch roofs and simple yet extremely romantic is design.

Zeavola's two innovative restaurants offer a wide variety of authentic cuisine from rural and royal Thai to mouth-watering International specialties. Baxil serves authentic Thai cuisine, served in style accompanied by an exclusive selection of international wines in air-conditioned comfort or al fresco whilst the informal beach side Tacada serves a wide choice of Asian and Western fare in a picture post card setting.

The Spa is easily the leader on Phi Phi. Treatments are designed to stimulate the body’s natural processes towards health, contentment and well-being using a range of traditional, ethnic and imported, products and principles that you will benefit from long after you leave. The on site PADI dive operation can arrange dives to some spectacular local spots and caters for professional and novices. Water sports such as windsurfing and kayaking can also be easily arranged. There is even hi speed WI FI internet access is available in certain areas of the resort.

This romantic resort is geared towards couples and in fact would make a perfect honeymoon destination. Why spend all that money going to the Maldives or Bora Bora when Thailand has such relatively great value for money gems such as Zeavola. The resort is isolated and quiet, there is little in the way of nightlife but that’s the whole point. It’s a place to relax, chill and rejuvenate in one of the world’s most stunning settings.
