Tucked away in a quiet corner of southeast Phuket is the ever popular hillside resort of Cape Panwa. It commands spectacular views of the ocean with the added benefit of a secluded and sheltered beach.
All rooms, including Pool Villas and Jacuzzi Suites are facing the Andaman Sea. The 246 rooms are contained in a selection of low rise one to four storey buildings, surrounded by the sanctuary of a coconut grove and verdant tropical gardens. This is also a great option for families as it is one of the few hotels that the Family Rooms really cater for 2 adults and 2 children in terms of bedding!

Dining options are endless at Cape Panwa with 10 bars and restaurants to choose from. Our favourite is Panwa House; a magnificent Sino-Portuguese mansion on the beach featuring authentic Thai delicacies and is not to be missed! Each of the offerings is relaxed and casual and serves a comprehensive selection of food from around the globe and all at unbelievably reasonable prices.
The active traveller will never be found wanting as there is a tennis court, fitness centre, sauna, massage, swimming pool with adjacent children's pool and beachside pool. Water sports, including sea canoes, snorkelling, and catamaran sailing and daily beach activities are also on hand as well as a range of boats available for charter. Each week you may join courses such as Thai cooking, Thai language and massage classes.
Even though Oasis don’t normally recommend resorts of this size the way it is extended through the natural surrounds, the amount of dining options and large beachfront make it feel much more intimate and boutique like in character. It also represents one of the best value for money options on the island.
