Manathai Resort is situated just a short walk, through protected greenery, from fashionable Surin Beach. It is a stylish area adjacent to the exclusive Amanpuri and Laguna resorts with direct access to the soft white sands of Surin Beach. This small stylishly presented boutique property faces the azure waters of the Andaman Sea.
With just 52 rooms in two wings (we will always try to secure the new wing rooms for your booking) this is one of the smaller resorts on Phuket. Superior and Deluxe rooms are alike, the Deluxe just being a touch larger; junior suites are furnished in marble with wooden floors and have a separate living area. All are airy, roomy and colonial in feel with over sized beds with large wooden panel headboards and dressed with crisp white linen. The one let down could be that there is no view to speak of as rooms face in to a courtyard over one of the small swimming pools.

Weaves, the alluring signature restaurant serves western favourites and classic local dishes either in air-conditioned comfort or on the open air terrace, whilst snacks and lighter meals can be taken at poolside. Room service is available 24 hours. There are also options within walking distance of the hotel and the nightlife and eateries of Patong are only a short taxi ride away. Other facilities include 2 swimming pools and baby sitting service
Manathai is the perfect escape for those who enjoy style and character without breaking the bank. Service can be a little hit or miss but always with the best intentions and a smile. In terms of value, style and location this chic inexpensive resort is one of our favourites on Phuket.
