Evoking the rich heritage of the elegant tall ships of yesteryear, the SS Mary Anne is a beautiful motor-sailor that abounds with traditional character.
Launched in 1997, the Mary Anne is a 216 ft. three mast barquetine which features over 1000m² of canvas when cruising under full sail. Although designed for 34 passengers, she carries a maximum of 16 guests and is warmly furnished throughout with polished wooden panels.
There are 12 air-conditioned, en-suite cabins spread across 2 decks which each overlook the sparkling Pacific through portholes. The cabins feature modern, classic decor and offer a mix of bunks (double lower/single upper) and double beds (pictured).
There is an abundance of space both inside and out including a lounge, dining room, library and entertainment centre.
The Mary Anne offers two 7 night itineraries, an eastern and western circuit which together circumnavigate the islands. Daily excursions from nature walks and swimming to snorkelling and panga rides and are led by the resident naturalist guide and guests can take advantage of the kayaks in several of the bays.
The SS Mary Anne is a beautiful ship that would particularly appeal to sailors and families. Aside from the standard wildlife excursions, she also offers pointers in sailing, nautical knots and navigation by the stars.
