Mai Chau Lodge is a small boutique property that offers just 15 deluxe rooms and a junior suite. All rooms are extremely comfortable, with en suite facilities and have views of the mountains, lake, pool or the valley.

The Lodge’s restaurants offer traditional and international cuisine with views overlooking the lake, the paddy fields and the swimming pool all accompanied by a well stocked wine cellar.

The lodge facilities include an outdoor swimming pool sauna and steam room, Roman style Jacuzzi, room service, daily turn-down service and bicycle rental.

As part of the on-going commitments to the local community, Mai Chau Lodge actively promotes sustainable tourism and is involved in many projects including training and education; offering hospitality and trade skills to the local community, employment of local community (100% of lodge staff are local), using only local products and produce, and participates in the Charity Medical trek with The Seattle Community College.

We at Oasis are big fans of this excellent lodge. It is the perfect alternative for those wishing to see local hill tribes but do not have the time to get to Sapa.
