Dzanga-Ndoki National Park consists of roughly 400 hectares, encompassing many forest clearings, known as bais, and attracts the forest elephants looking for grazing and water. Other Wildlife roams freely including, forest buffalo, western lowland gorillas and the giant forest hog. There are many more species of monkey present, as well as some large cats and a wide range of birds. Habituated gorillas in the park, can be tracked and visited.
