Perched on the edge of Pucon with rooftop views overlooking the smouldering Volcano Villarica, the Aldea Naukana is a small, rustic yet charming boutique hotel in easy reach of the lake and surrounding national park.
Awash with glorious native woods, the hotel breathes fresh life into regional architecture with exposed beams and volcanic stone worked around an eye-catching, central tower. Wooden decks criss-cross the attractive garden under the shadow of fruit trees.
There are 5 cosy rooms, each individually styled, spread throughout the main house and four “palafitos” stilt cabins in the garden. Low key décor lifts the natural materials while traditional textiles and cushions add a splash of contemporary colour.
The ethnic style Naukana Restaurant has long been a favourite in Pucon, predating the hotel, and specialises in oriental cuisine using fresh, local produce. In addition, there is a sauna and hot tub overlooking the surrounding countryside while various massages and treatments can be booked in advance at reception.
The Aldea Naukana is a quirky, budget option in Pucon within easy reach of a number of bars and restaurants. Communal areas are cosy and staff are attentive and happy to help organise excursions.
This is just one of the hotels that we recommend in this area. If your favourite is not featured just let your consultant know - we will be happy to book it for you.
