The Harmony Hotel is a hip, eco-hotel set amidst lush tropical gardens that exudes a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere testament to its surfer owners and focuses on all things natural from the locally sourced organic food to the yoga workshops. The restaurant delivers fresh local and international flavours including excellent sea-food while for lighter bites, you can order a sandwich or salad at the hotel’s very own juice bar. For a change of scenery, Nosara is a short walk away and has several good restaurants. The Harmony Hotel was born surfing and no visit is complete without trying your hand in the glorious waves. Further afield, you can ride, kayak and bird-watch or simply relax around the pool or indulge in a massage or yoga class. The Harmony Hotel offers no great luxury just a simple, rustic elegance that prides itself in all things sustainable. It is difficult to get to and does have the feel of an upscale surf retreat, yet the heady combination of ocean, jungle and conservation is pure Costa Rica.
