Equatorial Guinea - DESTINATIONS & HOTELS

Annobon Island

Separated from the rest of the nation by a vast stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, Annobon Island is home to an isolated population of a few thousand residents, who speak Fá d’Ambô, a Portuguese Creole dialect that hints at their unusual ancestry.

Thanks to a construction boom on the island spurred on by the completion of the new airport, Annobon is ideal for hiking across volcanic scenery, whale watching or for enjoying time out on the Islands pristine golden beaches.

On the northern tip of the island, the tiny capital of San Antonio de Palé has everything you may need. Take an exploratory boat ride and experience this least visited part of Equatorial Guinea
