I'd like to say that the experience with Oasis was very good - right from the planning stage to the end of the tour. The itinerary worked very well and we certainly enjoyed a variety of experiences and saw so much of Sri Lanka.

Home to what is commonly described as Rajasthan’s greatest fort; Chittorgarh is steeped in history and makes for a very interesting visit as a day trip from Udaipur or when travelling en-route between Udaipur and Bundi. The fort is the main highlight and occupies a 28 sq km site on top of a 180 metre hill overlooking what is now called the lower town. The township which was originally situated within the fort walls; however after the Mughal Emperor Akbar took Chittorgarh over in 1568 the lower town was created. Chittorgarh itself is quite industrial and has limited accommodation options; hence we generally don’t recommend staying overnight.
