There are so many highlights in this fascinating country that it is impossible to list them all here. Our travel consultants will discuss your interests and be able to put a specific itinerary together for you, but below are a few must seeā€™s!

BAY OF ISLANDS

The Bay of Islands was proclaimed when Captain James Cook stopped here on his round the world journey in 1769. Anchoring at Roberton Island, Captain Cook made contact with the local Maori People and immediately started trading with them. Waitangi Treaty Grounds is a half-hour walk along the beach from Paihia. At Waitangi, you can learn more about the original settlers, and the local Maori descendants still living here. Observe some of the world’s most massive war canoes in action each year on Waitangi Day. Explore the Bay of Islands on one of the many cruises, or by chartering a yacht, or hiring a kayak. Big Game fishing at the Bay of Islands is a highlight of the season with Marlin, Snapper and Kingfish fishing available.

ROTORUA

Rotorua is one of New Zealand’s best-known tourist locations, revolving around the Maori People and culture, geothermal activity, natural hot springs, and spectacular volcanic landscapes. Rotorua’s sunny days are ideal for all manner of outdoor activities, with fantastic walking or mountain biking trails, and excellent trout fishing.

The Fiordland National Park has some of the most extraordinary and dramatic scenery in New Zealand. Designated a World Heritage wilderness and among its many scenic attractions, this area includes Milford Sound, Mitre Peak and Doubtful Sound.

QUEENSTOWN

Located next to Lake Wakatipu, with the Remarkables mountain range in the background, Queenstown is picture-perfectĀ You could ride the Skyline Gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak for a spectacular view over Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu towards the Remarkables. Indulge in a luge ride or soak up the view as you enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. Ride the gondola back, walk down the track, or take the quick way by tandem paragliding.
