Java trip was good - your arrangements were excellent as usual (no hitches). I agree Borobodur is worth the trip, perhaps not quite as fascinating as Angkor Wat, but very special. I particularly enjoyed the bike ride from Kaliurang.

A maze of tight-knit lanes and hidden streets weave and wind their way to form the hard-to-navigate heart of Zinder, and over the town with its great adobe architectural achievements loom the towers of Sultan’s Palace. Zinder was once the busiest camel caravan stop on the Trans Saharan route and is reflected in the bustling bazaar, stretching as far as the eye can see. With a rich history of French rule, tribal trading and culture, Zinder exude pure energy.
