Pacific Coastline - Panama
The Pacific Coast boasts the tallest mountains in Panama, longest rivers, and the richest valleys. The region is home to spectacular highland rainforests and the most productive agricultural and cattle farming provinces in the country. It is also home to the pristine Golfo de Chiriquí with long sandy beaches and a fantastic diversity of marine life. The mist-covered mountains near the town of Boquete is an excellent base for adventure activities including whitewater rafting and mountain climbing.
This region is the centre of the country's coffee industry, which means the rich aromas of a cup of coffee are never more than a cafe away.
