Farasan Islands

Saudi Arabia - Classic Saudi Arabia

An archipelago of 176 coral islands, 40 kilometres offshore from Jizan in the Red Sea, the Farasan Islands are considered one of the crown jewels of Saudi tourism.

The sea and reefs surrounding the Islands are a diverā€™s paradise in which precious marine life remains mostly unaffected by tourism or divers.

The Farasans offer tranquillity, peace, and adventure in a magnificent natural setting. Onshore, you will discover a rich variety of plant life, including mangroves, acacia, jujube and arak trees. Aquatic and migratory birds abound, including ospreys, pelicans, falcons, and European turtle doves.
