Built in 2008, the Galapagos Odyssey (officially “Gran Natalia”) is an elegant 134ft. motor-cruiser that offers a wonderful combination of comfort, space and modern technology.
Inside, the vessel has been recently refurbished with smart contemporary décor framed with large picture windows which flows through the lounge, bar and dining room and sets the tone nicely for the cruise.
There are 16 spacious air-conditioned cabins (around 20m²) including 2 suites all with private facilities and either double or twin beds. Each is equipped with a desk, chair and, better still, 3 separate windows for wonderful views and which can also all be opened to allow in the ocean breezes. Upper deck cabins have an exterior door, while the main deck cabins are accessed from an inside corridor leading to the nearby lounge.
Outside, the lounge opens onto a shaded terrace for al fresco dining while head to the top deck and you can wind down on the sundeck or simply watch the world drift by from the comfort of the jacuzzi.
The Odyssey offers a range of 6 to 14 night night itineraries to explore the breathtaking Galapagos with daily excursions led by the on-board naturalist guides. There are regular opportunities to swim, snorkel and enjoy the inflatable kayaks depending on the itinerary.
The MY Galapagos Odyssey is a good option in the Galapagos, excellent value for money, whose size and stability would also appeal to the poor sailors of this world.
