Experience the daring and adventurous. This itinerary involves some rough and rugged living at times, so bring your sturdy walking shoes to encounter where the  King Antiochus I of Commagene built his colossal funerary sanctuary, and dedicated the temple to himself, and marvel at the museum of Antioch with its superb collection of mosaics found in Antioch, Daphne and Seleucia Pieria. 

You will gaze in awe at  St Peter's Grotto a cave church the meeting place of the early Christians and the Greek Sumela Monastery built on a steep and rocky slope in the 6th century and abandoned in 1923. 

Then we will take it easy on our last day of this adventurous tour of Eastern Turkey for a little last-minute shopping before overnighting in Istanbul.
