Yes it has been incredibly hectic since we got back but we had a sensational time in South America. Of course we have loads of photos and I kept a detailed journal of the trip and have feedback below from those notes.

The journey to Sapa has never been more easily accessible or as elegant as when travelling in style on board the luxurious Victoria Express Train. The stylish wood clad carriages are reminiscent of a bygone era where train travel was so much more romantic!
The journey takes you through the striking landscapes of Northern Vietnam, between the charismatic cities of Hanoi and Lao Cai (34 km from Sapa) which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your seat or private cabin. If you would rather, you may spoil yourself in the dining carriage, “Le Tokin”, where you can savour the delights of traditional Vietnamese and Western cuisine. (Note; the dining carriage is only available on certain days of the week, please ask your consultant for details). The excellent food is served along with a selection of fine wines, adding a further exquisite touch to a memorable journey.
The train departs six times a week, linking Hanoi to Lao Cai. The journey takes 10-hours, accommodating 48 passengers with comfortable seating, a dining carriage and two luxurious sleeper carriages.
Each sleeper carriage has 6 superior cabins with 4 berths (these will be shared with other guests if not taken in full) and 2 deluxe cabins with 2 berths. All carriages are air-conditioned, wood panelled, with individual reading lights, baggage storage, toilets and oversized windows.
The Victoria Express Train Carriages are exclusively reserved for Victoria Sapa Resort's in-house guests. On the current schedule it departs Hanoi at 21.55 and arrives at Lao Cai at 06.00.
